Megasquirt Base Map

With our KingTuner Base Map for Megasquirt, you'll get a personalized starting point that includes fuel maps, ignition timing, rev limiters, and idle controls tailored to your engine. We've got all your sensors, inputs/outputs, injector settings, and trigger settings ready to go so you can just upload and start your tuning journey.

The Full Tune includes all of the Base Map calibrations plus, complete calibration of idle, cold/hot start, boost control, etc. Please read the simple process below and let's get your engine purring just the way you want it!

For either selection, We will contact you after purchase to obtain a complete build list. You can also leave information in the notes section at checkout.

*Note: All Base Maps require further tuning.  It is the starting point to get your engine fired up, idling and able to drive moderately.

* Syncronizing the ignition timing with the Ecu is the very first step before starting the engine. You will need a basic timing light and identify your TDC/Angle marks on your engine cover.

Simple tuning process:

1. This service requires an appointment which can booked after purchasing ,please contact us to schedule an appointment.
2. Please make sure you have a timing light ready and a friend to help you.  Ignition timing synchronization with the Ecu must be confirmed.
3. The tuning will be done via live connection method at first.  Once we get the engine to a driving state, we can then switch to the Data-logging and File Send method.  See below.

Live Remote Tuning:

• You MUST have a good and stable internet connection.  If you are testing on a street or track, phone tethering may not be adequate.
• You will be required to download and install a remote client such as Anydesk, in order for us to gain remote access to your laptop and start tuning.
• You are required to be able to test in many conditions such as idle, steady cruise and wide open throttle (WOT).  Please make sure your designated route is established before hand.

Data-logging and File Send:

• If your engine is already running and you have access to the tuning software and map; or, data-logging capabilities such as a COBB Accessport, then this method is very simple and the one to choose when making the purchase.
• It's simple, you record a datalog and email it to us along with the current tune that is being used.  Let us know all the issues or concerns you are having and what you would like to try and resolve.
• From there, we analyze the data, make adjustments to the tune and email you the first revision.  We repeat this process until the tune is considered complete by our tuner (usually 3-5 revisions depending on what we are trying to achieve).
